Avalon Press is the culmination of parallel
loves: books and reading! First blush, that seems
redundant: For books are about reading! That which
should be read
and the means to read it. In other
words - printing and writing!
We are not a printing press. But we do love the "black art" in all its forms. And we are not authors. But we do love to read good stuff!
Our commitment is to our authors and readers. To design and produce books that you will want to take with you to read: On The Bus, At The Beach, In The Park, On The Nightstand. And that comes down to quality: Quality of Print, Quality of Content. We will not spend our precious publishing coin gilt-wrapping dross to look like gold! That alchemy is best left to those that have more coin!
Our aim is to bring to you readable and enjoyable books.
